Let me introduce you to a website that could be a real treasure for the most demanding UX designers. I’m not saying this just because I created it, but because I believe it’s an excellent resource in the design world. If you’re a UX designer who deals with developing ideas and customizing platforms, this site might be right up your alley. It may not be very well-known as it’s dedicated to a rather niche category of professionals, but it’s a truly magical universe of resources available for those seeking inspiration.
At first, my goal was to gather and store small fragments of design, such as login and registration forms, calendar examples, gallery concepts, pricing, and so on…so that I would always have them at my fingertips when faced with new projects and lacking inspiration. This way, I avoided having to search for inspiration through a myriad of web pages, saving valuable time and increasing my efficiency at work.
I noticed that my approach of sharing a folder full of files with a large number of people (including my students, colleagues, and even industry experts) had become impractical. Therefore, I decided to create CallToInspiration, a website where anyone can easily access the section they need to find ideas and useful tips for their inspiration.
The fundamental difference between CallToInspiration and other platforms that showcase design examples is that I focus on the specific elements that make up a project, such as buttons, lists, cards, modals, drop-down menus, or concrete things like cookie windows. Unlike other platforms, I don’t showcase complete projects or overly detailed examples because I believe the focus should be on the elements that matter most. My intention through calltoinspiration.com is to provide a limited but extremely powerful amount of graphic information, capable of stimulating imagination and providing creative solutions for every design project.
I hope that my initiative can help many Product & UX Designers like me find the inspiration and creative solutions they are looking for, and take their projects to an even higher level.
